Organist / Choir Director

Keith Gramlich

(917)757-4207

Keith Gramlich began his service to the church music ministry at the age of 15 at the church in Bellerose, NY where he grew up. Being raised by a devout Methodist mother, he had the musical liturgy of the Methodist church engrained in his head, along with the great gospel and revival hymns of the south where his mother is from.

For over 20 years, he has been the music director for the First United Methodist Church in Oceanside, NY, playing organ and piano, and directing the choir. In addition, he is the music director for the Oceanside interfaith council, directing the combined choirs of the various religious organizations in the area for the annual interfaith Thanksgiving service.

Keith also has a great interest in theatre organ, having played most major theatre organ installations in the NY Metropolitan area, including Radio City Music Hall and Long Island University's Brooklyn Campus, formerly the Brooklyn Paramount Theatre. There he played the Paramount's mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ for the LIU Blackbirds basketball team home games. This was a natural after playing for both the New York Islanders hockey team and the New York Express indoor soccer team.
